Knee Replacement

Mr Ian Sinha gained experience in knee replacement during his higher surgical training and enhanced this during his overseas fellowship in Australia with the Perth Orthopaedics and Sports Medicine Centre. One of the skills he has returned with and uses routinely is computer-assisted navigation knee surgery. Navigated knee surgery has been shown to improve implant survival in total knee replacements performed in those under 65 years of age in the Australian Joint Registry.

Clinical studies have also shown a reduction in outliers with the use of navigation versus standard technique with regards to alignment of the prosthesis.
